Interior design services for apartments

three services · one studio

From the first brief to the final site walk

Each service covers a distinct phase of an apartment project. You can start with one and continue into the next, or engage a single phase independently.

how we approach the work

A staged process — each phase confirmed before the next begins

Apartment design works best when each phase is given enough time to settle before moving forward. A brief that is still forming when drawings begin produces drawings that need to be redone. Drawings that are unclear when sourcing starts produce supplier shortlists that miss the point.

Our process is designed around these dependencies. Concept Development produces a confirmed brief. The Full Design Package starts from that brief. Coordination starts from the drawings. Each stage has a clear deliverable that is reviewed before the next begins.

1

Brief and direction

Establish how the household uses the apartment, what needs to change, and what the project is trying to achieve. Produce a written brief and draft layout.

2

Client review

The brief and layout are presented. You review, ask questions, and confirm or adjust. Nothing moves forward until this is signed off.

3

Design and documentation

Full drawings, material schedules, and 3D visualisations are produced. Materials are confirmed room by room before renders are finalised.

4

Sourcing and coordination

Supplier shortlists are built, samples reviewed, and sourcing visits conducted. Site walks begin once the contractor starts work.

5

Ongoing documentation

Every site visit produces a written summary. Changes are logged in a shared document throughout the build phase.

Concept development for apartments

service 01

Concept Development

RM 480

two to three weeks

Initial collaborative work that sets the direction for a residential project. We begin with how your household actually moves through the apartment on a typical day — not what the previous owner did with it, and not what a show unit suggests. From there we build a working brief, gather mood references aligned with your daily routines, produce a draft layout, and write a spatial narrative that explains how rooms relate to each other.

Suitable for owners planning a renovation, a recent apartment purchase, or a home that has grown beyond its original layout. Two consultations, one site visit, and a presentation document with one revision round are included.

what is included

  • Two consultations (one remote, one in person)
  • One site visit to your apartment
  • Draft layout with furniture suggestion
  • Mood board and material direction
  • Written spatial narrative
  • Presentation document with one revision round

best suited for

Owners at the start of a renovation or a new purchase, before a contractor has been appointed. Also useful for clients who want to clarify the direction before committing to a full design package.

Full Design Package

RM 3,200

four to eight weeks · up to four rooms

A complete documentation set for an apartment project. Covers floor plans, electrical and lighting layouts, material schedules, furniture specifications, and photoreal 3D views for each main room. Suitable for owners who want to communicate the project clearly to a contractor and review every surface and finish before purchase. Up to four rooms are included in the base package; additional rooms are quoted per room before work begins.

The documentation is formatted to match how contractors in the KL market read and price from drawings — reducing the chance of pricing errors or on-site interpretation issues.

what is included

  • Floor plans with furniture layout and dimensions
  • Electrical and lighting layout drawings
  • Material schedule per room
  • Furniture specification schedule
  • Photoreal 3D views for each room in package
  • One revision round included
  • Additional rooms quoted on request

best suited for

Owners who have a confirmed direction and are ready to produce the documentation set for tendering or appointing a contractor. Can follow Concept Development or begin from a client-provided brief.

service 03

Procurement & Coordination

RM 1,650

build phase duration · klang valley

Hands-on assistance during the buying and build phase. Includes supplier shortlists, sample reviews, sourcing visits within Klang Valley, and weekly site walks during active works. Communication with the contractor stays in writing, and a shared change log keeps adjustments transparent. Suitable for clients who prefer to delegate the operational side while keeping final decisions for themselves.

We do not manage contractors or make purchase decisions on your behalf. Our role during coordination is to observe, document, flag issues, and provide the information you need to instruct the contractor directly.

what is included

  • Supplier shortlists across Klang Valley
  • Sample reviews and showroom visits
  • Weekly site walks during active build
  • Written summary after each site visit
  • Shared change log maintained throughout
  • Written contractor communication

best suited for

Owners who have documentation in place and a contractor appointed, but want a design professional present during the build to flag issues and manage supplier sourcing. Also works as a standalone for clients with existing drawings.
